Rachel Leeds is a queer, multiply disabled 2L at University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law. They became involved in disability advocacy at Goucher College where they studied literature, philosophy, and creative writing. Before starting law school, they spent two years working as an Accessibility Advocate at the Walters Art Museum. Rachel grounds all the work they do in Disability Justice and Inclusive Design principles. They love connecting with people, especially about disability and accessibility. Rachel lives in Baltimore, Maryland with their cat, Alibi. Outside of law school, they enjoy reading and writing speculative fiction, crafting, and being strange with friends.
