Katie is a 3L at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and the President of ASU Law’s NDLSA member organization. A Minnesota native, Katie obtained her B.S. in sociology from Montana State University before moving to Phoenix for law school. She has remained an avid advocate for disability rights since childhood and intends to work in disability-related civil rights law. She is passionate about disability justice and representation, and aims to address the stigma she has faced throughout her life as a physically disabled woman. Katie has been volunteering with NDLSA since March 2024, and is extremely motivated to facilitate inclusion and disability visibility in the legal field.
